Haze City returns to his own imprint Casse Records after already appearing in 2020 on Boogie Cafe Records 'Collective Sounds Vol 2', as well as the Summer Dance Forever & Dance Regular compilation celebrating 10 years of Summer Dance Forever, the insanely popular street dance festival in Amsterdam. The Summer Dance Forever & Dance Regular comp featured some of the rising stars of the broken beat scene, which Rush Hour Records (NL) called 'a sterling compilation featuring the who's-who of fresh and upcoming UK talent'.

On Excursions 4 Haze City continues his exploration into soulful, bass heavy, broken beat with 5 brand new tracks. 'Soundboy' is a soulful take on his hometown Bristol's rich sound system culture. While 'Reel Close' takes inspiration from varied sources such as UK Garage, 2000 Black Records and dub legend King Tubby mashed together to create a unique bass heavy, soulful piece of music.
