The inaugural release on PRISM comes courtesy of Jon Phonics, fresh off the back of his debut appearance on vinyl with the essential 'Bruck Out/The One' 7" on Chakra Sounds. Never one to rest on his laurels, Jon now presents the 'Grid Games' EP. This instrumental, progressive project is a nod to his more leftfield influences forging elements of electronica, 2 step and in his own words 'tropical um bongo bass music'. The vinyl features collaborations with S-Type (LuckyMe), Jeeks (Civil Music), Pete Cannon and BUG alongiside remixes from Kidkanevil, Ghost Mutt and Pedestrian. 'The One' received heavy support from the likes of Kutmah and Morgan Zarate, being dropped to a packed tent at Sonar by B Bravo and appearing as the opening track on Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Bubblers 7.
