Do Not Sleep

Prominent Ibiza brand, Do Not Sleep, drops its 5th release of the year from North East UK DJ producer Elleot. Having spent many years perfecting his studio style, he has released on the labels like Underground Audio, Lemon-aid Music, Under No Illusion and VIVA to name just a few. He has has been remixed and supported by influential people in the scene like wAFF, Carlo Lio, Steve Lawler and more.

Elleot's Circus release has become such a big and strong package, they've split it in to two parts. In part one we feature his track Fairground, which comes complete with two killer mixes, one from the fast rising star Jesse Maas, from Amsterdam's PIV Records and another by the mighty Diego Krause from Berlin.

The lead track, Fairground, is a bouncy, deep and minimal track. With its intricate yet twisting bass line, this has excellent synergy between that bass line and the synth chords and pads to create that essential hypnotic deep yet sprightly groove for the dance floor.

On the remix side of things first up is Jesse Maas. Fresh from a string quality releases on PIV, Robsoul, Moan, Hedzup and Domus LTD, the talented young Dutchman displays maturity above his years with a classy minimalist and deeper take on the original. With punchy snares, bouncing bassline and a killer groove to boot this remix is on point.

The second remix is from Berlin's Diego Krause. As co owner of the Beste Modus label and also his own label, Unison Wax, Krause has a trademark organic and deep sound with a modern 90's twist. Regularly playing in clubs like Watergate, Prince Charles and Kater Holzig in Berlin, to Fabric in the UK to SASH in Australia over the years, its fair to say Krause has been at the forefront of the deep and minimal sound for many years and has been touring this massively emerging sound around the world for years. For his remix he delivers a subtle and elegant deep version of the track.

This is a great welcome to the Do Not Sleep label from all three artists, and is an essential release that is not going to be unnoticed this year.
