This release is somewhat special to us. It was not only Dub Taylor’s debut album on Raum…Musik from the year 2000 but also name-giving inspiration to our little label here.
Apart from the now-classic 15 tracks in between Techno, Dub and Ambient, we added ‚Blueprint‘, the original flip side to Dub Taylor’s first 12“ release on Raum…Musik, a deep beauty, originally recorded in 1997.
We also replaced the short version of ‚Figure Two’ from the album with the original 14:28 minute version formerly only available on vinyl.

We also choose two more pieces from the original sessions to complete the album reissue. They were originally left out but later released under different monikers.
‚Generate Dub’ was out as PHEW! on the short-lived Synaptic Waves in 2001 and ‚Walk On While Suicide‘, a tune that might sound familiar from Richie Hawtin’s ‚Closer To The Edit‘ compilation (there mistakenly labelled as ‚Orph‘), was originally released as Retrotronic on Peter Armsters‘ Punkt Musik label. We hope you enjoy this trip to the past as much as we do.
