JTS005 bursts in delivering two timeless productions by Santiago Salazar, both cleverly reinvented by DAHRAXT, a new Mannella s project. The whole EP is the result of inventiveness musically merging and melodies into a wonderful tapestry of sound.
The original version of NBS2-19 is a dreamy driving loop beat, built on a fat kick drum, that becomes raw and biting due to that squeezed synth on DAHRAXT's version.
On the B side, both versions of NBS2-15 have a strong hypnotic drift, although the original mix is a dancefloor killer theme.
Santiago Salazar, in addition to being a member of the legendary Los Hermanos, he released an infinite amount of excellent music on UR, Planet E Communications, on his own ICAN Productions and Historia y Violencia, a co-project with Silent Servant.
Here both artists showed us how to break into the future, with solid roots in the past
