The inaugural release on WaveTheory is an EP from label owner Etherwave. Hailing from Leeds in the UK, Etherwave has previously had releases on labels worldwide including Clubsonica Records in Colombia, Extravaganza in Italy, and RunAfter Records in Lebanon. Following the release of his last EP 'Pathfinder' on Clubsonica, Etherwave debuts on WaveTheory with 'Sansa' - a 3-track EP mixing his own unique takes on progressive house, melodic techno, and afro house.

The title track of the EP melds melodic techno and afro house creating a unique relentlessly progressive groove. Chunky percussion and tribal chanting drives the song, whilst icy synth stabs ebb and flow throughout.

'Sunrise' continues where 'Sansa' leaves off, with tribal percussion and a deep bassline the basis for a sharp organ-style synth line growing to a crescendo in the breakdown, before pairing back to the basic groove and allowing the synthline and percussion to grow once more.

'Nobody Else' brings the collection to a close as textured percussion, weaving vocal effects, and deep chord stabs grow around a progressive synthline, building to beautiful vocal breakdown before kicking back into the chunky bassline and percussion.
