2019 was a pivotal year for Speaking In Tongues. Shortly after landing their first Beatport Top 10 via their collab with Santiago Garcia on TAU's massive V.A. record, Spektrum, they released their biggest EP to date through the infamous microCastle imprint, including remixes from both Mathias Schober and Zombies In Miami. Finally, they capped off the year with their remix of John Tejada and Adult Karate's ‘Your Ghost', amassing a ton of play from around the world and quickly becoming a favorite of both DJs and fans alike. Sprinkle in another collab with Italian producer, Ivory, and the American duo spent over a third of the year in the Beatport singles charts.

Now, ready to take on the next chapter, Philip and Miguel begin 2020 with a complete re-branding and launch of their label, Eternal Order.

Sure, the climate out there is blanketed with underground labels, and yes, it is a bit of a daft idea to go about releasing music on their own versus signing records with established labels—but as the late Terence McKenna once stated "This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed."

The duo looks to write a musical story throughout the year. With five releases of original music on the books for Eternal Order in 2020, you can expect something different with each release while still maintaining a common thread that is uniquely their own. Planning and writing music this way has given them a deeper sense of purpose while working in the studio—providing the ability to think and create for the long-term rather than simply cranking out tracks in a vacuum.

We get our first taste of Speaking In Tongues in 2020 with a double-sided single, boasting two massive dance floor tunes. Leading off with ‘Oscura', a track that has a sense of familiarity to it but is richly detailed both in harmonic melodies and groove—it's a tried and true club track but with a sense of emotion and meaning. On the flip we find ‘Voodoo Moon', which charges along with huge percussion and a steady bass-line while a tripped-out and detuned horn melody takes the audience through an unexpected journey.

So, jump on in as the boys grab hold of the wheel and head down the rabbit hole!
