ALX rolls into 2020 in style with his new two track Zuru EP on the Miami based label, Descend Records. The American mixes up deep, rumbling techno with high energy percussion and deft synths and showcases that here.

First up is Zuru, with mean bass rolling beneath haunted chords that unfold up top with a real sense of tension. There is an exotic lead synth line that also adds to the dark spell and keeps you locked. Prolon then keeps it deep with more minimal techno, sci-fi synths and shuffling perc that gets you in a state of trance. It is brilliantly atmospheric and involving and makes for a real ride.

This is another top EP from this quickly ascending producer.
