Deep’s second release is almost up for grabs by none other than Corren Cavini, the new Dutch rising star that made a big impact on Eelke Kleijn’s imprint Days like Nights.
On Escapism he has traded his brand of progressive house for a much tougher sound. It’s great to see this talented producer fuse styles and not pin himself down to just one direction.
The original Fortified mix has a definite techno feel and is perfectly suited for the late hours. Its no-nonsense arrangement is wasting no time to take you into darker territory. As soon as the big bassline comes in, it’s accompanied by a quirky sonar and a recognizable melody that carries the track all the way. Quality peak-time music!
The Fractured version switches it up by introducing a deeper route with broken beats, huge melodies and a dark, growling bassline.
