Nacho Bolognani is a name many will recognise from previous outings on the likes of Highpath, Fun Records and Momentz, here he turns on similar charms for the two-year-old Purism. Again on an intricate and layered tip, we open with 'Distance Dub', which is a bouncing trip into minimalistic but detailed, track-y and groovy tones. 'Kip' is more upfront thanks to its clever use of vocals, switching the feel from heads down to party fuel. 'Grey' introduces delicate, twinkling samples and playful keys that lollop with purposeful clumsiness to create something veering on freeform. Closing out on 'Flow', a deep tech number built from submerged-sounding elements, regular voice stabs and mysterious harmonisation adding a spatial aspect to the cut. Rewarding stuff that should do well with players that approach mixes with pin-point accuracy and patience.
