Solemn is a track that starts you off alone with some lonely percussion and drone-like synths. It drops you suddenly right into the mix with a hard kick and bass line that rattles as it progresses. Once you get further along the path you are met with some melancholic melodies as well as elongated synths reminiscent of trains that guide you through the track.

Repeat Journey is a track that will transport you into a soundscape. Building upon the sounds of Solemn, Repeat Journey has original synths as well as actually audio recordings of trains around the hometown of JoeFlow. These sound recordings provide the feeling that you're on a journey. You're met with elongated bass, and original vocals(JF's voice). The percussion is raw and edgy.

Lose Control drops you straight into the track full on with drums and bass. A traditional off-beat bass line in this track really gets the speakers pumping. The short vocals give you a sense of being lost and losing control. The breakdown and buildup is one with huge house music influence.

Let Go has a variety of elements that grab your attention. Immediately you're met with soothing melodies and well placed percussion guided by synth and string shots. They take your ears to even more soothing chords and a bass that sits so well in the groove. The breakdown and buildup is one worth noting as it really takes you away from where you are to a place where you can let go of all your negativity. The way it all finally comes back together is reminiscent of euphoria and peace.




This 4 track EP is a look into experiences that most people go through at one point or another in their lives. Toxic relationships are typically hard to break and it is very relieving once it happens. I learned so much about myself and about others through those bad experiences. I learned what I wanted in my life and I learned what I didn't want in my life. I learned who I truly wanted to become and how to be happy loving myself. Without those bad experiences I wouldn't be the confident and happy person I am today. We learn from everything we go through. For that reason I dedicated this EP to those learning experiences. Track 1. Solemn is all about being alone. You're looking for something. Track 2. Repeat Journey is going through bad experiences and being stuck in a toxic cycle. Track 3. Lose Control is when you break down in the cycle of a toxic relationship. It's taken a toll and you begin to Lose Control. Track 4. Let Go is when you finally decide to make the tough decision. You've got to Let Go of that toxicity and negativity in order to learn and grow from it. That's what this Techno EP is all about and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
