Batavia Records always have an eye for new talent to recruit them as new mate on our ship and this time we spot SOulfreqtion from Johannesburg South Africa. His sounds are like sails in the sun flutter in the wind when we first play his head track 'Solace (Original Mix) which he also made another version in to more Ambient like electronica track. The Original is pure Deep House style with warm pad, deep melodies and soft rhythms which keeps you watching every detail of the lion as Batavia ship's bow.

His third track called 'Get On' like calling SOulfreqtion on board of the Batavia, is again a deep style composed production, with more dub like rhythms and strong bass line to give that extra groovy element. This track is like the rippling water with the last shimmer of the setting sun to enter the evening mood with 'Forty Six'.

Now this track 'Forty Sixty' has that jazzy organ groove with rhythms on top hopping from the stern to the front part of the ship. With use of minimalism cutt-off sounds, it gives this EP the perfect balance when you walk over the board from the deck to the quay.

SOulfreqtion shows with his very first release he belongs to the Deep House artists South Africa can be proud off.

Ahoy Enjoy!
