Returning to Sudbeat is Antrim with an another glorious solo EP. After his recent Showcrates 5 track and inclusion on Hernan Cattaneo's Sunsetstrip mix album, Antrim is riding on a wave of success, so when better to further showcase his wonderful vision of progressive music.
First up is 'Roads' a bumpy, bell-driven affair. Tambourine and cowbell percussions soon make way for deep pads and emotive sonics which really get going midway and develop into a powerful pre-peak groover. 'Ataraxy' next opens with congas and sparse percussion. Organically growing over the first few minutes, keys, vocal shots and layers of percussion add tensile strength. A melancholy lead draws you in for the full emotional journey. Finally, 'Laner' is a tougher vibe. Opening with Thiller-esque percussion, this is a later night heads-down groove with keyed hooks and clever sound design.
