Clouded Vision is the duo formed between \"Turbo Recordings\" and \"Bugged Out!\" resident MATT WALSH and his long term friend and studio partner STEVE COOK.
Their minds collided over a love for rare 80\'s New Wave and Acid House when they met in 2005.
After a slew of remixes (on Turbo Recordings, Process Recordings and Mute) and original material on their label Clouded Vision Music they decided to send us, here at MEANT, their latest productions.
We are now proud to present this release, our 10th, including 2 of their original productions (ROOM 101 and FUTURE FURIES) alongside three hot and very different remixes, spanning a wide section of electronic music s history.
The two original tracks are deeply haunted by Clouded Vision s new wave influences and strengthened by their perfect slo-motion techno groove. Their mix of modern and vintage analogue production skills are used to perfectly capture the sleazy new beat vibe.
Our hot-shots REMOTE and French newcomers DARABI chose to rework ROOM 101, undoubtedly stamping their signature grooves into the track. Sexyness and tweaky basses as usual for REMOTE, coupled with darkness, flying pads and bleeps from DARABI.
Finally English duo PEOPLE GET REAL (residents at Wax:On world wide) have transformed FUTURE FURIES into a huge dance floor hit with a 1990 s house taste, raw rhythmic production, and acid relentlessness!
