The next release on Fractured Sounds sees the return of Jey Kurmis and his undeniably unique quirky tech house sound. After delivering a killer remix not too long ago he is back with his own release on our label, 'Parronchi', which comes equipped with remixes from Ellhaych and Giulio Cadri.

Opening the release, Ellhaych's remix takes on the form of a dubby, analogue and uptempo weapon. A far cry from the original in terms of vibe but pleasantly underground in all of its glory. Hard hitting drums and racy rhythm, crushed and glitched sampling, eerie chords and plenty of modulation. All the makings of a peak time head turner, and then some!

Next up, Jey's original mix of 'Parronchi' exhibits plenty of his signature wobbly style. A prominent sub bass driving the main belly of the track, supplemented by chopped and cleverly constructed vocal samples sit perfectly alongside his usual advocation of idiosyncratic melodic factors. As always, a weird and wonderful piece of work from Mr Kurmis that is guaranteed to get your head bobbing.

The finishing blow is delivered by Giulio Cadri with a swinging revamp of the original. Not as rechanneled as the other remix, but still very individual in its own right. Playing on loose, stomping rhythm and some incredibly momentous buildups, this track is all about the energy and no doubt will inspire plenty of hands in the air.

Jey Kurmis - Parronchi EP (inc. Ellhaych and Giulio Cadri Remixes) is proudly presented by Fractured Sounds.
