If there’s one thing The Bearded Man hates, it’s rain. I mean, he can appreciate what rain DOES. He loves green, he loves grass, he loves trees… He loves the *results* of rain, and he certainly prefers it to the desert, or worse, a never-ending drought. Still, he considers himself first-and-foremost a child of the sun. Generally speaking, you’ll find him inside whenever it’s raining out. Sometimes with coffee, sometimes with booze, but inside for sure. If you’ve been reading his stories here, you’ll also know that he’s not exactly the romantic type, even though he can be pretty sentimental at times. Still, every now and again, a girl will get underneath his skin. Every now and again, he finds himself in a situation he just can’t get himself out of. Last year, he met an Instagram model who had 3.9 million followers, and they dated for a memorable week. Now, I know what you’re thinking - “Doesn’t The Bearded Man have a rule about only dating women who have at least 4 million followers!?” Well, yes he does. But this girl was so special that he was willing to make an exception. When she left him, he took it bad. Real bad. And he brought her flowers in the rain. Go figure. Love is a weird thing.
