Silk City (Incl. Fred Everything Remixes)

Kruse & Nuernberg Feat. Nathalie Claude

Lazy Days Recordings
LZD-021 | 2011-04-19
Kruse & Nuernberg are back on Lazy Days with their first release of 2011 and first original vocal track feat. Nathalie Claude. Also includes 2 Fred Everything Remixes.Florian Kruse & Nils Nuernberg are back on Lazy Days after the successful 'Sliced & Chopped' last year. This is their first record of 2011, back from a world tour that took them to Greece, Canada, the US and Australia. This time they're bringing their first original vocal production featuring Nathalie Claude who has previously recorded with Andre Lodemann. This is something different from Kruse & Nuernberg and I'm sure you will agree that this could be their best work yet.

With its intriguing melodies, strings and piano orchestration, 'Silk City' has got modern classic written all over it. Nathalie is a Jazz singer and the tone of her voice reminds of Telepopmusik's 'Love Can Damage Your Health'. Fred Everything once again steps up to the remixes with a straight forward modern house production and a dub that brings back early influences of Mauritzio and Mood 2 Swing.

The bonus track Mama's Garden keeps the K&N floor friendly tradition. Recently showcased on the Lazy Days Podcast, this hidden gem has already got people asking about the release date. No more wait, here it is!

Hope you enjoy the release as much as we do.

We would also like you very much for the tremendous support on our 5 Years anniversary sampler! #1 on Juno Download top sales, #2 on Traxsource top sales as well as #3 in Beatport's Nu-Disco Chart. The Album will be out in April and has already been awarded 'Album Of The Month' in Mixmag UK and Label of the Month in IDJ UK
