Night Talk Series One: 'Tonight' (The Remixes)
Galleria Records boss Sandy Turnbull reveals his brand new 'Night Talk' series, putting a spin on new productions with remixes from artists not in-keeping with the traditional Galleria sound. On the first release Sandy reconnects with Toddla T collaborator singer/songwriter Mr. Bailey on 'Tonight' - a monstrous slab of infectious peak time piano house, destined to smash it's way through Summer 2017's dance floors and beyond!
As part of the Night Talk Series will see the single be followed up by a choice selection of remix with Sheffield duo Future Wildstyle get busy with the breaks, delivering a jam animated with lively old skool vibes and Friday Fox's Christian B turns on his Deep House charm with a cool 'Nite Time Mix', smattered with cut up vocals and armed with an epic breakdown. Closing out the package in an anthemic fashion, Sandy delivers an epic driving Instrumental under his The Retrobates moniker.
For the Night Talk Series artwork, Sandy has sought out talented Illustrators from around the world to create something special for each release, with 'Tonight's cosmic design created by Jakarta-based artist Rob Morgan.
Sheffield's Sandy Turnbull has fast become a prolific artist in recent times, gaining two Traxsource number 1 singles on his own Galleria label. His distinctive Disco House fusions have been championed by Derrick Carter, Groove Armada, Soulclap, Blaze, Jimpster, Mark Farina, Sonny Fondera, Tony Humphries, Horse Meat Disco, JellyBean Benitez, Simon Dunmore, Mixmag, DJ Mag and many more. Sandy's recent releases include 'Lifted / The Musica' (featuring a George McRae's 'I Get Lifted' rework), 'After Cominskey Park', 'Make Me Cry', 'Deep Inside Yourself / Going Back' and 'Who Told The Tales / From The Start'. Sandy has also recently completed remixes for Christian B & Lavvy Levan and new Minneapolis band, Skydoll.
