Tribe presents the soulful sounds of Kholi who has recently signed for an album deal on the label. The ever consistent singer-songwriter has already laid her foundation in the house community from working with acclaimed producers, DJ Kent, Djeff Afrozilla, Lemon & Herb and having hit remixes from Atjazz on Chasing (C9ine) & Josh Milan on Different (Djeff Afrozilla)

Born and raised in Johannesburg – Soweto, Kholi was intrigued by music from an early age. Having come from a family of musicians, she was constantly surrounded by jazz and gospel music being inspired by legendary artists such as like of Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Patty La Belle and Anita Baker.

Now she is poised to set the house genre alight with her first solo offering ‘Inner Freak’ produced by Zepherin Saint where he brings his signature Tribe vocal mix treatment to this infectious melody layered with horn sections and flute solos.
