Make no mistake, Raving George is on the cusp of being absolutely bloody massive. And when you're at that stage, with such promise and heat around you, some grumpy, miserable folks, who probably all rue the death of breakbeat, are waiting for you to slip up.
So arguably this is the most important EP of Raving George's short career. She's an exciting young Belgian DJ who just smashed I Love Techno to pieces, has her own show on Studio Brussel and now back with her second EP on Bad Life, she has the world is at her feet.
So, what she did is this. AH MAN! AHHHHH MAN! WOAHHHHHH! She went and made the coolest, most beautiful techno EP we've heard this year.
B-side Alternate smashes it out of the park again. It's a slightly more conventional affair perhaps, but no less fun to play out. It's that Future Techno TWR72 / NT89 sound that we love so much but with a somewhat classic air about it aswell.
So to the naysayers: yea! yea! yea!
