All good things things come to those who wait as the proverb says, so Tribe Records are delighted to announce the release of a track we've been fans of for quite a while. 'Do You' appeared on South African star Bucie's brilliant album, 'Princess of House', which came out at the end of 2011, and we've been waiting for the right moment and the right remixes to let it loose on the world's dance floors once again.

Dutch DJ Rancido Deep aka Randy Tjon-A-Fon will be familiar to Tribe Records regulars, as his two versions of 'Higher Self' featuring Ade Alafia are among the highlights of the fresh-as-new-paint 'Tribe Vaults 3: Afro House Edition%u2019 compilation. But he's been a hot DJ and remixer for many years now, skillfully blending deep, soulful house with Afro-beats. Here on his 'Travelling Soul Mix' he takes Bucie's emotive will-you-really-love-me lyrics and pumps up the percussion, stacks up the multi-layered vocals and adds a deeply-echoing sub-bass loop to test the quality of the clubs' bass bins.

Jihad Muhammad has been hosting Bang The Drum Party in downtown Newark, New Jersey and promoting the 'Global Soul Movement' since 2009. He's a DJ and producer for whom house, funk, disco and Afrobeat all define Global Soul, so he reflects the music we love at Tribe Records and was the go-to guy when we wanted a mix that does indeed deliver solid drum rolls (just listen to those opening bars!) as well as freestyle, jazzy organ keyboard playing that gives the remix a proper instrumental flavor before the drums kick back in. Don%u2019t miss his weekly Bang The Drum Sessions on www.buttersoulcafe.com every Tuesday.
