SHIRLEY JONES and JEAN CARNE are soul music legends. Shirley is lead singer of THE JONES GIRLS who started singing backgrounds for DIANA ROSS and recorded for CURTIS MAYFIELD at Curtom Records before signing with Philadelphia International.

Here they had hits with YOU GONNA MAKE ME LOVE SOMEBODY ELSE and NIGHTS OVER EGYPT and as a solo artist Shirley had a hit with DO YOU GET ENOUGH LOVE.

Jean sang live with DUKE ELLINGTON, recorded the soul classic VALENTINE LOVE with MICHAEL HENDERSON and NORMAN CONNORS before signing with Philadelphia International and releasing one of disco music's biggest hits WAS THAT ALL IT WAS.

She also had a No.1 R&B hit with CLOSER THAT CLOSE and has recorded a string of other classics including DON'T LET IT GO TO YOUR HEAD.

Shirley & Jean have come together and have created this brand new dance anthem with producer DAVE LEE aka JOEY NEGRO. It forms part of a special series of releases to commemorate the 25th anniversary of EXPANSION RECORDS.

Rounding off this unique release is a superb remix by one of house music's newest heroes, SEAN McCABE. SEAN hails from south Wales and has been slowly building a solid reputation for delivering quality soulful house having already remixed for labels such as STRICTLY RHYTHM, KING STREET & Z RECORDS.
