Warehouse Party EP is the first release from Sara Simonit on Familia. Warehouse Party's carefully constructed percussive patterns keep the tension and ear interested throughout, whilst echoing vocals, glitchy delays and enveloping harmonics add to the pace.
Inhuman continues the groove based theme but with a subtly discordant and eery feel. Syncopated rising stabs crescendo whilst the looping tribalesque chants and crunchy claps keep the drive chugging along.
Mr. Bizz delivers a refined, melodic take on Warehouse Party. Warm pads take centre stage along with a chasing synth line floating above, framed by finely tuned percussion and swirling effects.
M.I.T.A. takes elements of Inuman and expertly reinvents them in the form of a relentless acid drum Dub, which doesn't let up from the start.
