'Limits Of Speech' marks the second release by Basic Frame for EPM Music who made their label debut in 2016 with 'Manual Screening EP'.
Basic Frame is a project created by Italian producers, Davide Nannini and Alessio Mascia, which has grown organically alongside their other projects. Davide has been DJing and performing live for many years across different platforms, having spent more nights than days in sound manipulation, wave triggering and sonic states. Alessio is a devout music junkie, whether it's on vinyl, CD or USB-stick, it doesn't matter. Deeply rooted in DJ culture, with a clear inclination towards the dance floor, they are both devoted to sound and a common sense of art.
In 2015 they decided to combine their musical visions and after many jamming sessions in the studio they forged Basic Frame. Mainly focusing on hypnotic textures, groovy anagrams and punch, their music territory is definitely Techno, vast and savage, just like their live performances - powerful sets played with decks, samplers, laptop and machines. It's an intense journey through unpredictable paths. In the same year, they released their debut 'Interlocked EP' on Black Brook and followed it with releases on EPMmusic, Counter Pulse, Labrynth, Gynoid Audio and Alleanza.
Speaking of their three new tracks on 'Limits of Speech', Basic Frame had this to say: 'The work reflects, celebrates and goes beyond the perimeter of language. It's about the boundaries of the conceivable and the expressible, inside the world of words. It's where it meets the unspoken one, made up of those trance states which only hypnotic and ritual music can generate. These tracks are humble tools for building those moments.'
