Before sample records were even known as such, there was STREET PLAYERS.
"Gonna Make You Move" Long Before "The Bomb" ,
"Won't Be No Stoppin", Long Before "Big Love" ,
Before anyone could ever imagine reworking breaks from The Ojays, vocal snips from Sade, Loops from Chicago, and Grooves from Fat Larry's Band, there was Street Players.
Raw and so Effective, & amongst those that started it all, (in regards to Sample based loop Tracks). Besides Dj's Victor Simonelli (Steetplayers, Groove Committee, etc) , and Pal Joey (Earth People, Soho, etc), there was just about NO one doing anything like this before this,, but Sooooo many doing it After.
Street Players set the bar for a style that grew and expanded, across the world.
Production Started in 1992 , and first EP got vinyl release in 1993 , this brings all of Street Players tracks together for the first time Ever.
