Solid State delivers a rocking two-tracker for our Special Series. Consisting of label-boss Aka Carl and U.S.-based Steel Grooves, Solid State is a project that puts together prime-time techno that lights up dance-floors all around the globe. We kick off with 'JFK', a dark and banging track with a rolling bass steadily pushing the track up to an epic rise in the main breakdown. 'Compounded' is the second track, with a bit more bounce per ounce. Rides, drum-fills and am amazing vocal keep is on our feet till we filter down to an atmospheric breakdown where a dark synth takes over before a nice, clean and banging drop. Dig in!
