Milk'n'2 Sugars looks forward to the summer with a hot new 3 track EP from Liquid People's Danism Project , which is already scorching the dancefloors.
'Bajo Sucio' , 'La Lluvia' and 'Cayendo' , collectively known as the 'Astarte EP' , is the final instalment of last year's 3 single deal with MN2S . It sees the Danism Project follow up the ultra cool, soulful and very successful 'One Life' , with an EP directed straight at the Balearic peak time. With a title inspired by the great goddess of Ibiza , this is a release that really highlights the strength, variety and sheer quality of Dan Liquid and Dan Nu:tone's production talents.
Following on from where the 'Afterdark EP' left off last winter, this release brings to the fore another dimension of deep, rolling and electronic workouts to the MN2S catalogue and defines the sound to which Liquid People intend to rock this summer's international dancefloors.
Showcasing the progression of their dark and driving sound, Dansim work the rolling bass line and hypnotic stabs of 'Bajo Sucio' to massive effect. Underpinned by heavy and perfectly executed percussion this track deserves maximum attention. 'La Lluvia' takes things on a deep, dark and techy vibe while 'Cayendo' is a unique electronic trip that hooks you in immediately with sweet chord progressions and another massive bass line, which will groove you to the core.
As a package the 'Astart e EP' is a collection of deep, driving peak time House bombs that will devastate any discerning dance floor. Rapidly gaining strong support and heavy rotation from a host of the scene's leading players, this EP is destined to make a major impact.
'This EP is slammin' ? I love it,' Dan Liquid, explains. 'It's Liquid People and Danism's Ibiza pressure!! It's a fresh new path for us, developing into a tougher, trackier and edgy direction as the scene evolves, and the reaction so far has been amazing. The ' Afterdark EP' was were it started and this steps that up a level - we were out in Ibiza for the opening at El Divino and this whole EP tore the roof off.'
