Sergio Bennett and Coopdown mark their Piston Recordings debut with the superb Hater Blocker which features the original and two solid remixes. DJ and producer Sergio got into electronic music in 2000 and since then he has not stopped evolving and learning new things. One of his main attributes is his ability to connect with the crowd, creating special moments wherever he plays. He has released on several labels over the years and he shows no signs of letting up. Coopdown has a very impressive back catalogue spanning several years and he has worked with Sergio on many occasions. He also finds special moments when playing out and his brand of house music leaves its mark on all who listen. A hugely talented duo we're delighted to have on board.

The Original Mix gets the floor rocking with muted kick drum and a catchy spoken vocal while a high string fills out the background. The kick drum gets boosted and is joined by sharp hi hats and a gritty bass. A short break is climaxed with a solid bass drop that will rattle bassbins to their core. It's the bassline that will get the booty's shaking as it etches out its groovy vibe. The main break hones in on that vocal and a fantastic build up gets the juices flowing before crashing back into full on mode. A definite must have for sure.

Titan Road aka Marco Pettenon debuts here with a top notch remix. No stranger to the dance music scene he has been producing and DJing under a different alias for many years. In 2012 he fell in love with deep house and garage which led him to start this new guise. Here the remix opens with a dancey, rhythmic drum arrangement which is joined by a thumping kick drum and some hypnotic percussions. The vocal fades in and out adding character to the groove, but it's the bassline that gets the track really moving with its groovy allure. A proper peak time monster of a track that will definitely keep the party rocking no doubt.

Another newcomer to Piston is Sergio Parrado and here he delivers a quality remix. An experienced DJ and producer with over 21 years in the game, his sets and his sound go hand in hand with quality always at the forefront. His work has been released on a plethora of labels and he has graced the decks at many venues, including his own club - Conga, where he dishes out the beats to the baying crowds. The remix opens with a nice punchy kick drum and shuffling hi hat combi alongside a short chord stab. Subtle bass tones fade in before the main bassline rumbles through the track getting the groove into full swing. Spacey synths and retro style FX join forces as the vocal is introduced creating a sublime sequence before we settle into full on mode. A stomping slice that will not disappoint.
