We got this song in our head… Santé smashed ‘Ghostwriter’ out of the park for Saved in 2015. A stripped back creeper with tightly plucked synth bass and a breakdown you’d sell a few toes for, it set the standards high. But if anyone can smash a remix just as hard, it’s the forever-unstoppable Solardo gents.
Maintaining all the warm, groove-poked aspects of the original – the breathing bass, the rolling momentum and that killer spoken sample – the Manchester duo add a signature jacking beat, a truck-load of sub and that bumping Solardo twist that makes Santé’s fundamental elements shine. Still pounding clubs since they emerged on Hot Creations two years ago, and currently denting the Beatport overall number one with their ‘Sola Miami’ album, it’s looking like another vintage for both Solardo… And Saved Records. Enjoy!
