Mattei & Omich and vocalist Ella make their debut on Soulfuric Trax with ‘God Make Me Phunky EP’. The title track features a suitably funky bassline with infectious groove, tight percussion and string stabs that play out alongside memorable spoken vocals courtesy of Ella in the main version. Cleptomaniacs put their stamp on the tune with an eerie melody overlay on their remix, while ‘Your World’ follows the same formula with killer funk samples and a groove-laden beat, rounded off with more life-affirming Ella vocals.
