In a Conspiracy first the crew enlists local Sydney weapon Harrison Morris for the stunningly crafted three track EP: Imitate.
Opening with the aptly named Lifestyle, Morris layers lovely percussive elements to set an upbeat tempo, before effortlessly teasing them in and out to keep almost any dance floor on its toes - and we mean that in the best way possible. Showing his diversity with Interlude, Morris reveals his moody side, weaving haunting vocals over an unrelenting groove.
Rounding out the release is the spicy title track itself, Imitate, a fun roller featuring intricate stabs to add a little acid flavour to the mix.
Don’t be fooled by the name, this release delivers originality in spades, consistently serving up punchy bass and some undeniably clever vocal cuts, it’s no wonder Morris was selected for the first solo release outside of the immediate Conspiracy family.
