Inspected Music is excited to showcase this new EP by DI-verse. The duo was started in Adelaide, South Australia by Luke Jamieson (The House Inspectors) and Ryan Manolev (DJ Discrete). They became resident DJs at a host of the top clubs in Adelaide of the early 2000s. In 2014, they met up more often producing their own material and formed DI-Verse. The 4 track EP is full of flavor and soul. House Don’t Stop is bursting with piano hooks & vocal chops topped off with bright dynamic horns all while keeping that funked out bottom end. Soul Freak moves more towards that Nu Disco sound with cheeky horn and vocal stabs and upfront rhythm guitar. Make it Hot turns up the dance floor heat with the energetic bass driven mix, a tracky guitar riff driven jam with a hint of jackin topped with sweet and soulful vocals. Settle veers more towards a soul infused deep cut, combining dynamic percussive elements and edgy funked out guitar stabs along with plenty smooth vocal cuts all floating over a potent underground bass groove.
