Cristian Carpentieri, Guido Nemola and Chico Perulli return to Piston Recordings as Joyfull Family and team up with Freaky Idols on the top notch House joint entitled Goin' Up. The JF trio continue to deliver the goods, their last outing Mediterraneo was very well received having gained featured spots on Beatport and showing up on many playlists. The guys spin regularly at top clubs alongside top jocks from around the world. These days they focus a lot on music production and when they start dropping tracks like Goin' Up we couldn't be more delighted. Always a pleasure having them here at Piston. Freaky Idols aka Italian DJ and producer Flavio Santoro debuts on Piston and joins the roster of Italian artists on board. Flavio has released several superb cuts over the years with his debut coming in 2012 on Joyfull Family Records before appearing on SK Recordings a couple of years later. Buckle up for this one, with these 4 guys at the helm you know it's gonna be pumping.

Goin' Up is the epitome of pure house music complete with funky bassline and groovy rhythms. Right from the start we are lured to the floors with a solid 4x4 beat offset by cool crispy hi hats and sharp claps. The big hitter here is that bassline, it meanders effortlessly through the track, forcing you to shake that booty. The track is given the full club treatment thanks to infectiously catchy vocals and the funkiest keys. A superb slice that will be a most welcome addition in any party room.
