London-based diaspora in Session is proud to release the third single from Directions' critically-acclaimed debut album 'Have You Felt This Way Before'. Following on from the release of 'Busted Trees' (which featured Carl Craig's smash remix), "Deep Talkin'" gets the once over by one-half of the legendary Masters at Work, Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales.

KENNY DOPE'S MAIN Summer stepper alert! Simply put, Kenny injects the dancefloor chunk into this classic boogie beauty. Sliding Directions into an uptempo old school bump 'n' grind skin, the subtle energy of the original is brought to the fore while the band weaves their magic around the master's recrafted rhythmic core.

ALBUM VERSION

MARATHON MEN TALKIN' DEEP This elusive East London duo chop things up in a new and unexpected way, rephrasing Chantal's sinewy vocals and adding some surprisingly welcome synthetic texture. Syncopated rhythmic jumps and a rich and ever-so-slightly-rude bottom end introduce a 'street' foil that anchors the song's original elegance.
