Biotop proudly welcomes Colombian artist Blanali to the label with a moody voyage through an hypnotic cosmos of Latin-influenced electronics. Throughout his career, Blanali has explored multiple aspects of electronic music, from club-focused beats to abstract experimentation. So far, he's released his diverse array of styles on Colombian label Techsound and Austrian imprint Vienna Wildstyle. Blanali's mini-album for Biotop, Telstar, is the sum of his long-term exploration of sound. It's an unapologetic mixture of musical influences that combine live recordings with organic electronic arrangements and the poetry of surprisingly happy accidents during the production process. The result is a highly personal and varied compilation of sonic landscapes, melancholic imagery, and evocative melodies.
