John Larner's history in electronic music needs no introduction. The veteran U.S. DJ and producer has been around the globe enough times to get a permanent seat on the plane. Throughout his career, Larner's passion for the full spectrum of electronic music has truly set him apart from his peers.

"Blu Eyed Soul" is a fresh new take from Larner, who teamed up with fellow U.S. rapper and vocalist Ashley Nelson on this single. "Let me be the Prince to your Revolution", sings Ashley. "Blu Eyed Soul" is a blend of pure dance funk with a hip-hop flare, that has enough funk to make you wonder if James Brown reincarnated to make a dance record.

The single also includes several remixes, featuring the indie electronic group, Dirty Sole. This mix slows things down a bit and turns up the nasty analog funk that the duo is known for. If we didn't know any better, we might guess that Doc Brown set the DeLorean to the year 2046 to bring this one back. See also: #Future #Analog #MrFusion

Next up on the single we have a remix from DFA Record artist, James Curd. James does what he does best by letting the bassline do the work here. It's a pure party mix and definitely does not disappoint.

Rounding out the release is a remix from Richie Heller (one half of Dirty Sole). Richie does an amazing job, with delayed out vocals over a trippy 80s synth line. It's all in the groove on this mix, which truly ties the single together.
