The Zombie Soundsystem label is back with another floor facing Ep of fresh and forward looking tech sounds. Behind this one is Werone, an Ibiza production duo who serve up two sizzlers.
The excellent Broken Beyond Repair is first up and is a stripped back deep house cut with rubbery kick drums and freaky synth lines. Some steamy female vocals and dry hist make it a libidinous and popping number that will make the club bounce.
Then comes Acid Reflex, a more mischievous number with a gritty acid line ripping it up. The synth stabs are wild and there is real tension as the track builds. It’s one to get people sweating and has real power in the icy hi hats and incendiary grooves.
This is a standout EP that is sure win the artists behind it plenty of new admirers.
