The third edition of Senso's compilation EPs lands with four fresh tracks from the label's extended circle of friends and family. Senso Sounds Level 03 is packed full of Senso's trademark - techy, tough and driven grooves shot through with dirty machine funk.
Hatzler - the much lauded German DJ and producer - is a case in point. His 'High Noon' is hard as nails techno - built around an insistent pulse but with gnarly, growling synths evolving into an epic journey over almost 8 minutes. Rob Hes' 'Drag Me Down' is similarly high calibre. The Dutch star shows why he's creating such a fuss right now with this incredibly potent burner - tight drums, bubbling synths and long atmosphere builds and releases showcase his talents. Paul Ursin - the Italian producer also riding the crest of a wave right now - shares 'Space Race' - a sleek and slender techno diamond that's going to get a lot of love over the next months. Last but not least, Cashette's 'Modul' brings the 3rd EP in the series to a close, a fine shuffling and spacy excursion that settles into a killer, unignorable groove.
