“Compute” by Berlin eclectic producer Terranova (Kompakt) was one of the Flashmob LTD highlights during 2017, reaching the first spot in our personal Beatport Top10 chart, and we’re now ready to reveal the exclusive remix pack for this one. So here’s three remixes from three different producers: Nice7, Marco Resmann and TTBP who deliver their respective interpretations of the original chunky/funky version.
The first remix comes from German superstar and Watergate resident Marco Resmann (Knee Deep In Sound, Upon You Records) who turns the original into a deep techno tune with raw shakers, clap grooves, analogue synths and pads for a true Berlin anthem.
Following this is the Italian duo of Nice7 (Noir, Snatch!, Crosstown) with a more tech house approach coming from an unstoppable LFO controlled synth which drives the direction of the track until the big break comes in. The fat bass-line, the vocal cuts and the high pressure drums do the rest creating a mind blowing club track.
Bollen & Fichtner are back on the label this time as a remixers and their version is a dancefloor weapon with some serious sub and wobbling bassline moving skills. Their approach on “Compute” is a true groovy destroyer with a great use of the original elements into the break before the hands-in-the-air rocker drop.
Closing the EP is the TTBP (New Violence, ARTA Immersive) remix. The Spanish duo, that has already released on Flashmob LTD an amazing remix of “Consonance” EP from Terranova, strikes back with a killer 909 groove and a longer use of vocals for eight energetic minutes of techno and house strings with splashing hits and turbocharged bassline.
