Sven Tasnadi - Straight Forward EP //

It's been about a decade since the Leipzig-based Sven Tasnadi first appeared on the circuit as a producer of quality electronic music, only to provide a stream of acclaimed releases via respected labels like Poker Flat Recordings, Moon Harbour, Kann Records, Katermukke and many more in the years to come. Now, in 2017, Sven Tasnadi finally makes his debut on Hive Audio with his „Straight Forward EP“ and we're more than happy to welcome this renowned and well respected artist to our roster.

With the opening title track „Straight Forward“ we see Mr. Tasnadi fully fulfill expectations raised by the tunes name, presenting a fast paced and dancefloor rocking techno vision carried out by razor sharp hi-hats, a vivid, intense and slowly modulating synth tone and dubbed out pads leading towards massive build-ups and high energy moments for heaving large scale crowds.

Taking care of „Street Shit“, Sven Tasnadi continues to follow the beaten path up a darker, slightly more mechanical alley beatwise only to deliver a seductive contrast by introducing a rolling, organic House bassline, re-warped vocal bits and loads of haunting FX as well as various layers of busy, Latin-oriented percussion works for hot and steamy peak time workouts.

Finally the „Looser“ enters well jackin' territories with highly compressed, pounding drums accompanied by raw claps and a distinct Chitown bassline which lays the foundation for a simplistic, yet highly effective main motiv and eerie vocals announcing that someone surely is loosing control on the dancefloor.
