Label boss Gabriel I teams up once again with personal favourite Jamin Hernandez for another collaboration on Tenampa.
Previously releasing music on: Suruba Records, Sincopat, Selador Recordings, Asia Music and My Little Dog. The Mexican duo deliver 2 twisted tracks perfect for late nights.
On Remix duties is Stefan Z (My Favorite Robot / Rhombus) and Butane (SCI TEC / Little Helpers).
Kicking things off is title track: 'Minimal Gangster'. A serious work-out that slowly edges along to a subtle stab, while a sinister organ-like lead glides in. Big breakdown comes to add tension until an unexpected arp-like synth drops and take the track into a whole new level.
Taking the energy up a notch is Stefan Z, who adds more drive and detailed chunky percussive work, while retaining the original melody and adding an occasional fat bass line and moody overtones that give a very sophisticated touch.
Energy levels increase and 'Sentinela' is up next. A druggy voyage with its hypnotic lead that locks you in!.. Another one for late nights.
Closing the package is the excellent: Butane, who delivers a subtle groovy, yet hypnotic re-work of 'Sentinela'. Perfect to build up the set, while keeping up the heat on the dance floor.
