Celebrating the 50th digital release on Bosh Recordings, Yana Paisley and Toka team up again for a couple of brand new jams. Following last year's well received 'Synchronicity EP', the duo return with more lush, classic flavours.

First up is 'Headfunk', a jacked up, psychedelic funk fiesta. Opening with a tough jacking beat with skipping snares and crisp hi hats, before introducing a funky analogue bassline, the track gently builds with acidic stabs and skanking chords. A sweet, ethereal vocal collides with dark and ominous atmospherics creating an intense sonic whirlpool, whilst the heavy groove keeps it planted firmly on the dancefloor.
Next, 'Full House' keeps the tension ramped up, taking things on a more techy tip with dark vibes, snappy percussion and a heavy, driving bassline. Haunting pipes and swirling fx create an almost filmic soundscape, peppered with thought provoking vocal cuts. New themes weave in and out of the mix, building to a frenzied crescendo before bringing you down for a smooth landing.

Toka has been busy with other collaborations and remix projects this year as well as solo releases on Bosh and Treasured Grooves, and has a brand new 3 track EP coming soon. To coincide with this release, Yana will be playing once again at the Beatsworkin Secret Castle Halloween party in Barcelona alongside fellow Bosh artist Andy Moore and many others.
