The tittle of the song is called 'Can't Deny it'...this is a self assuring,self loving love song written to self by a strong black women who still believes in love despite her unjust experiences with the said topic....Wanda elevates an the song to new heights as she gives it a bumpy & groovy feel with a touch of jazz scatting to complete this beautiful soulful masterpiece.
Wanda started her musical journey as a member of the all-girl group, Ghetto-Luv in the 1990s. She would later recreate herself as a solo vocalist. She released her first album produced by award winning jazz guitarist Jimmy Dludlu, 'Voices' in 2003. She followed it up in 2005 with 'So Amazing'. 'Voices' earned her a KORA Award for Best African Arrangement 2004 along with two SAMA nominations and a Channel O music video nomination 2005 and 2006. These accolades opened up doors that saw her work with the creative as diverse as Moreira Chonguiça and Thembi Seete among many others. In 2009 Wanda released her third project with Universal Music, a jazz and fusion album titled Colours...
She then went on to sing/produce timeless beautiful jazz/soul/House & RnB grooves,one of her Neo-soul hits featuring Kabomo (another South African Neo-Soul Stalwart) caught the eye of the Grammy award winning and 2 time nominee Producer/Dj ..The Legendary Louie Vega,who then blessed her song Called 'Kisses' with a legendary and timeless remix/rework.
Louie Vega's Remix of 'kisses' went on to be a chart topping soulful hit that mesmerized music lovers & pundits alike worldwide...
Wanda's musical train show's no signs of derailing,her journey looks set for greatness and legendary status.
