Part of September 2014's "Long Lost Memories" EP for Agara, Roberto Traista produced a quartet of tracks that showcased the Romanian producer's talent and skill in impressive fashion. As Yin : Yang return to the EP, a pair of new remixes from Belarus and the Netherlands take a joyous new look at "Depressed."

Mikhail Akulich needs little introduction to the underground dance faithful as he continues his assault on the scene via his Michael A moniker. Since 2012's "DJs Came Down From Mars" debut for Stereofaza, Akulich's influence has grown steadily over the course of nearly 600 production credits. Indeed, regular contributions to Balkan Connection, Superordinate and his own Genesis have seen the Belarusian rack up a galaxy of original and remix material that generates new fans and supporters with each passing release. Moreover, three original EPs for Proton, including September 2017's three-track, "My Style," have shone brightly in jewel encrusted portfolio.

Now debuting on Yin, the Michael A Remix of "Depressed" is a typically dynamic offering that revels in trademark pulsating groove as percussive intent combines with rolling bass line to strong effect. Careful use of Traista's original components can be heard in the breakdown before a host of new production material in scintillating melodic motifs, take the track in a striking new direction for the third movement denouement. The resultant work is a tribute to Michael A's continued success and enduring sound.
