Northern Light Selectionz

Brian Nance

Stellar Disco Records
SDR006 | 2017-10-27
Our sixth release in six months is a monumental release by none other than Brian Nance. His first release was signed by legend Jesse Saunders in 2011, but in october 2017 its Stellar Disco Records and Brian's Norther Light Selectionz its all about.

Brian Nance is known from his own deep tech imprint called Tech22, has put out records on labels like Cyberjamz, Blaqhol Records, Sweatin, Toupee Records and Vicente Sounds to mention a few. His production is played all over the globe and has also been featured on deephouse guru Lars Behrenroth's DSOH show.

Featured on one of the tracks, Just Be, are also vocalist & songrwriter Bes and trumpetist Kafele. I dont have to much info on Bes, but there is no doubt he is highly talented at both songwriting and singing. Kafele is a composer, producer and trumpetist born in Baltimore and raised in Baton Rouge. Kafele also runs his own imprint K.Kapano Records Inc. A great talent of jazz brings Just Be to its climax with his soloing.

On remix duties we got the living legend that is Kiko Navarro. Fresh off his Everything Happens For a Reason Tour now ready with this sick instrumpental. Kiko should need no further introduction, but feel free to check his webpage kikonavarro.es

Also on remix duties we got Slotta out of Swaziland. A fresh talent who is so so talented its sick. Watch this guy is allI can say! His debut house EP came out on legendary DSOH Recordings last year. I see great things happening for Slotta.

1. Brian Nance featuring Bes & Kafele - To Be - Kiko Navarro Instrumpetal
Kiko takes the trumpet solo, keeps the feel of the hats from the original, spins it around and out comes a dope instrumental version perfect for any hour of the set!

2. Brian Nance featuring Bes & Kafele - To Be - Slotta eS Remix
Slotta spins his own chords around this beautyful vocal by Bes, adds a female vocal adlib, guitar licks, and his own spin on the beats. Just a stunning piece of vocal deephouse.

3. Brian Nance featuring Bes & Kafele - To Be
Such a lovely production by Brian Nance here. He gives just enough room for the vocal and the trumpet solo alongside wraping it up in some energic and hard hitting beats. Dope work!

4. Brian Nance - Chamber Tonez
A 2017 version of PU? It certainly feels like Brian has drawn his inspiration from the quality catalog of Prescription Underground. A deep track sure of taking you on an inner journey.

5. Brian Nance - Fantasy Garden
Just like its sibling Chamber Tonez this is a deephouse track drawing its inspiation from the legends giving no compromise to what things should sound like. True house music.

If you like this release please chart our artists!

Also be aware there will be a remix pack of Brian Nance featruing Bes & Kafele with more remixes by Kiko Navarro, Slotta and a couple more dope producers that we will keep in the dark for a while longer.
