WARM DAYS 000015 | 2017-08-25
A broken beat and jazz adventure.

After a year and a half of working in the studio, on stage, producing together, recording, remixing, jamming all year, at the end of it all QB Smith and pianist Yonela Mnana made an album. This is the first single.

Sun Doe, is an African woman spirit, a Hermes-like messenger, who operates in the virtual realm in order to deliver her messages from across realms, encouraging us to invent the future. We just play the music. Sun-Doe raises different themes on different days. On this recording Sun-Doe tells us FREE PALESTINE. Stop the killing. Stop the war.

Yonela Mnana plays Rhodes

QB plays vibraphone, harp, bass, and drums.

Produced by QB Smith

Everything else by Sun-Doe as channelled through Black Lives Matter, BDS Movement, Louis Farrakhan Sr, Democracy Now, and Jon Snow.
