Late Nite 'DUB' addict is a DJ/Producer from the North of England who is no stranger to the Studio Environment or behind the DJ Booth. His influences in the 90's included house legends such as
Mood II Swing, Master At Work ('Little' Louis Vega & Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez), Tuff City Kids, DJ Pierre,
Todd Terry, Kerri 'Kaos' Chandler and the late / great Frankie Knuckles. This style of house remains a
staple of Deep and Classic house today. A record Label that has had a big impact on his sound is the
famous New York Label (Nervous Records). He loved the fusion between the Rhodes / and Jazz piano notes, deep soft synth stabs and also the driving '808' and '909' swung drums that these producers made their own. Now Late Nite 'DUB Addict - brings you 'Back to Basics' a track which is definitely a testament of his Deep House 90's routes. This tack contains heavily swung drums with a sense of nostalgia and a nod to the Classic Roland Drum Machines the TR 808 and TR 909. With the accompanying vocals and driving bass this release has a definite (New York) party vibe from start to finish.
