Released in February 2017 to critical and public acclaim, Roger Martinez and his "Dream State" EP for Proton Music, showcased the Dutch producer's inimitable skills in all their glory. Now Particles provides a remix EP with artists from Europe and South America.

Owning some of the most exciting underground imprints in the dance industry including 3rd Avenue, Crossfade Sounds and the mighty Sound Avenue, Dominique Heyninck has been at the cutting edge of the dance scene as both facilitator and producer. Under his Madloch pseudonym, the Belgian producer has continually impressed as a renowned DJ in both his homeland and with a portfolio that totals over a century of production credits. Thus, the Madloch name has been associated with such celebrated imprints as Balkan Connection, Forward Music and his own Sound Avenue. Furthermore, the impressive Kraftwerk resonant, "Prologue" EP, for Paul Hazendonk's MNL, in June 2017, is a tribute to Madloch's enduring sound. Similarly, Mexican producer, Hot TuneIK has found notable success with his Hookah Records imprint. Already developing an EP from Kastis Torrau on his label, the Mexican's production alter-ego has found work allied to a host of landmark labels that include Dopamine, Suffused and Forward Music. Also a regular on the Madloch owned labels, the duo have come together on multiple occasions as a collaborative force. Indeed, a 2015 remix of Omar El Gamal's "Hacienda" saw a debut for the pairing on Particles as they now join forces once more with their reworking of Roger Martinez. Taking a deep rhythmic groove as a foundation, a richly resonant bass line creates a new motif that sits below a clever reimagining of Martinez's original components. Building with purpose and dynamism towards a sublime breakdown, the combination of rhythm and melody in the second half is a true testament to the duo's skill and talent.

Working under the Paronator soubriquet, Pavel Iudin, has been a frequent flyer in the upper echelons of the electronic music scene since a 2010 debut on UA Digital with the "Tesla EP". Subsequent releases on the likes of Anjunadeep – including a remix from the legendary Tom Middleton – Armada and Perspectives Digital, have been notable additions. Indeed, it was the latter that saw an iconic track formed out of a collaboration with label owner, Darin Epsilon, as "Esperanto" found its way on to the playlists of the industry's elite DJs. A 2008 debut on Proton Music saw the "City Lights" EP illuminate the label, while a trio of original tracks, not least in 2010's "Metropolitan" EP, are now joined by a debut remix. Immediately offering a dynamic rhythmic groove anchored by a bouncing bass line across the seven-minute track, Paronator takes Martinez's original components and transforms them into a compelling rework that sees a glittering lead line meandering across the upper frequencies as a sustained pad drifts in and out. Rich in additional production material, pitch bent phrases and white noise washes, Paronator's skill is to craft an impressive and innovative remix of "Dream State".

Remixes from Madloch, Hot TuneIK and Paronator have kept Roger Martinez deep within his "Dream State".
