Itokim is the alter ego of Japan-based producer Takuro Ito. Influenced by the likes of Detroit techno, IDM or electronica, he has been developing his unique brand of techno and deep house.

Itokim records for Nice & Nasty, Open Concept, Meolodika, 7th Sign, Fine Art, Logos, Organica Music Works and Itinerant all of whom share a love of deep, melodic techno, inspired by Detroit pioneers such as May, Saunderson and Hood.

Since releasing his first tune in ealry 2008, Itokim's star has rising and gained support and plaudits from Laurent Garnier, Ben Watt, Fabrice Lig, Rennie Foster, Santiago Salazar and Slam frquently appearing in the charts and Podcasts of the worlds leading DJs.

Dancing on a Cloud is a typcial Itokim creation - full of depth, melody and hi tech soul. It may be beat driven machine funk but the emotional quality that Itokim elicits is second to none, some might say akin to dancing on a cloud.

Remixes come courtesy of Fran Hartnett (Dublin native who is making a name for himself as a unique music make after developing a solid DJ career); 8ight Minus 8ight (the alter ego of Kenton Duffield, one of the UKs burgoneing trance producers, but as 8MINUS8 makes acid and electro); and Lex Loofah(The main man behind Red RObot, once of Warp Records fame during their heyday).

Hartnett drops a full on techno blitz; 8MINUS8 goes funky and acidic; whilst Lex Loofah takes the melodic techno and makes a mellow and deep tech house version replete with old school vibes.
