We've been following Serbian legend Vlada for a while now and since his killer ep on Kinetika back in late 2015, he's been sending us tracks for the label. Here he teams up with up'n'coming DFTD-approved producer Joe Red and Italian tech power-house Siwell.
"Losing You" is the clear weapon on this ep, its raw Junior Vasquez-era NYC energy and huge vocal breakdown making it - for us - real go-to cut when the dance floor is jam-packed. A close second though on the big tune stakes is his Siwell collab "Chorus Lab". It fuses the rolling rhythms of tech with some New Jersey style vocal sampling and some superb tribal drums.
Support from: Full Intention, Claptone, Carl Craig, Nick Warren, Brett Gould, Alaia & Gallo, christian Nielsen, Rob Cockerton, Erik Hagleton, Lexa Hill, Vanilla Ace, Mario Ochoa, Robert Owens, Vangelis Kostoxenakis, David Tort, Severino, Vlada Asanin, Mark Knight, Jelo, SKT (Kiss FM), Pete Griffiths, Toolroom, Oscar L, Hollen, Tuff London, Susinho, Alex Slater (LAMP), Cassimm, Stefano Esposito, House Keeping, Dilby, Johnsson, D.O.N.S., Aaron Bessemer, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Tom Breu, Peznt, Space Motion, Larry Tee.
